About the role#
We are looking for a Product Manager intern to join our Host Squad team for the summer. This team builds the core experience for fitness professionals, including gym owners, instructors, and community hosts. You will work directly with a Senior Product Manager to own specific deliverables from start to finish. You will collaborate daily with our engineering, design, and QA teams to improve our core platform features.
What you'll do#
- Improve core product features that drive revenue and operations, such as appointment creation and ticket management.
- Identify product gaps and failure states with a focus on the user experience.
- Define and manage analytics for new features to track performance and inform future decisions.
- Conduct competitive analysis on growth features and translate findings into product recommendations.
- Manage backlog health by triaging issues and assisting with roadmap sequencing discussions.
- Propose and prioritize improvements, partnering with engineering and design to execute them.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an MBA or master's program, or a strong undergraduate background with relevant experience.
- Prior experience in product management, engineering, or a startup environment.
- Ability to work with ambiguity and drive workstreams independently.
- Strong product instincts with a focus on user-centered design.
- Clear and concise written communication skills.
- Majors considered include Business Administration, Data Science, Computer Science, Marketing, Operations Management, and Mathematics.
