About the role#
As a Technical Support Engineer Intern, you will join our team to support enterprise customers. You will work both reactively and proactively to resolve technical issues and answer questions. You will be paired with a 1:1 mentor to guide you through this foundational role, which includes team triaging and shadowing opportunities.
What you'll do#
- Solve real-world customer problems in security, operations, asset management, and risk management.
- Triage technical issues, engage with customers, and conduct root cause analysis on live production implementations.
- Support security, operations, and automation efforts, including forensics, vulnerability scanning, and patching.
- Assist customers with platform and module upgrades.
- Partner with other engineers to assist with assigned cases.
- Execute special projects that directly impact the company.
- Document best practices, track activity, and complete accurate reports.
- Test products in a home lab environment.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate program with a graduation date of December 2027 or Spring 2028.
- A GPA of 3.5 or above.
- Authorization to work in the U.S. now and in the future.
- Experience with endpoints, networking, or operating systems and servers.
- Ability to work independently with good judgement and attention to detail.
- A focus on creating a positive customer experience.
- IT Helpdesk experience is preferred, and other customer-facing experience is a plus.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027.
- You must be available to work from June 7, 2027, through August 13, 2027.
- The role is based in Addison, Texas, and follows a hybrid schedule requiring at least three days per week in the office.
