About the role#
As an Information Technology Intern at Texas Instruments, you will join the Career Accelerator Program (CAP). This program provides professional training and hands-on learning to help you transition into your career. You will complete multiple assignments over two years to gain a deep understanding of business processes, develop quality software solutions, and enable data-driven business decisions. This role is a full-time, on-site position based in Dallas, Texas.
What you'll do#
- Build front-end components for websites and web applications to support user interaction.
- Develop and maintain server-side application logic, integration, cloud native systems, and microservices.
- Participate in the Career Accelerator Program to build technical skills and professional expertise.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve real-world problems.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor's degree program in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, Data Engineering, AI, Machine Learning, or Software Engineering.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or higher.
- A basic understanding of web development, programming languages (such as C, C++, Java, Perl, Python, R, or SQL), and scripting.
- Familiarity with networks, operating systems like Windows and Unix, and databases.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and time management skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to learn new systems quickly and work effectively within a team.
