About the role#
We are looking for a Sales Intern to support the owner at our Oakland Park location. This role is designed for someone interested in sales and operations. You will work on-site to assist with daily tasks, learn our sales process, and gain experience that can lead to a management position.
What you'll do#
- Support sales meetings by transcribing proposals and specifications into our order management system.
- Follow up with customers to schedule jobs and confirm details.
- Manage inventory by ordering materials, checking in deliveries, and matching pack-sheets to purchase orders.
- Cross-check invoices to ensure pricing and quantities are accurate.
- Perform estimates and refine our sales process.
- Keep the customer production schedule current.
- Record labor hours and track progress on projects.
What you'll need#
- You are at least 18 years old.
- You have a clean driver's license and reliable transportation.
- You are comfortable with technology including computers, MS Office, and various apps.
- You have excellent communication skills and feel comfortable talking to customers in person and on the phone.
- You are highly organized and able to learn quickly.
- You are open to receiving feedback.
- You arrive on time and are ready to work.
- Past in-person sales experience is preferred.
- We are looking for students or graduates in Business Administration or Marketing.
