About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience and professional development within the homebuilding industry. You will work within a primary department to gain exposure to business operations, project work, and the homebuying process. The program includes departmental rotations, office and field-based activities, and jobsite observation.
What you'll do#
- Support daily operations in your assigned department, office, or jobsite.
- Assist with research, reporting, administrative tasks, and coordination efforts.
- Learn industry terminology, business systems, company policies, and safety requirements.
- Collaborate with team members and cross-functional departments to understand how different areas support the business.
- Participate in training programs, meetings, and rotations to explore potential career paths.
- Conduct all business in a professional and ethical manner.
- Travel as needed, including occasional overnight trips, and work overtime when required.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled in an accredited four-year college or university, entering your junior or senior year, or a recent graduate.
- Pursuing a degree in fields such as Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Finance, or Operations Management.
- An interest in homebuilding, financial services, land development, or corporate operations.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- A willingness to learn, take initiative, and ask questions.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team.
- Flexibility to adapt to different work environments, including office, field, or remote settings.
- Candidates pursuing an advanced degree are also encouraged to apply.
