About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience and professional development within the homebuilding and homebuying process. You will work in a primary department or functional area to gain exposure to daily operations through rotations, project work, and field observations. The program aims to help you explore career paths within the company and its affiliated businesses.
What you'll do#
- Support daily operations at your assigned office, field location, or jobsite.
- Assist with research, reporting, and administrative projects.
- Learn industry terminology, company policies, and safety requirements.
- Collaborate with team members and cross-functional departments.
- Participate in training programs, meetings, and departmental rotations.
- Conduct all business in a professional and ethical manner.
- Work overtime and travel, including occasional overnight trips, as needed.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited four-year college or university, entering your junior or senior year, or a recent graduate.
- Pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, Communications, Operations Management, or related fields.
- Interest in learning about homebuilding, financial services, land development, or corporate operations.
- Willingness to learn, take initiative, and contribute to a team.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to adapt to different work environments, including office and jobsite settings.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Candidates pursuing an advanced degree may also be considered.
