About the role#
The Sales Engineer Intern role provides exposure to the sales life-cycle at QTS. You will gain a deep understanding of the solutions offered to co-location customers. This internship includes orientation, site-based activities, volunteering events, and weekly lunch and learn sessions.
What you'll do#
- Research prospective clients and customers.
- Help prepare solution and proof of concept materials.
- Join client meetings to observe how technical solutions are approached.
- Develop frameworks for account and project management.
- Become a subject matter expert on the QTS portfolio of solutions.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Management, Economics, Mathematics, Accounting, Finance, STEM, Data Science, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Full-time enrollment in a partner institution or Blackstone Launchpad affiliate school.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- US Citizenship.
- Previous internship or co-op experience in construction, finance, technology, HR, or facilities engineering.
- Experience with data analysis tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
- Familiarity with programming languages like Python or Java.
- Involvement in community activities outside of school.
