About the role#
The Christ Hospital Health Network offers a Health Administration Internship program designed to provide students with hands-on experience in a hospital setting. You will work under the guidance of dedicated team leadership who act as your preceptors. The program focuses on both strategic and operational projects.
What you'll do#
- Work alongside leadership at the hospital.
- Engage in strategic and operational project focus.
- Participate in semi-monthly roundtable events with executive leaders.
- Contribute to team member resource groups.
- Select a functional area track such as Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain, Human Resources, Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Information Technology, Health Information Management, or Revenue Cycle.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelors degree program in Health Care Administration, Business Administration, Public Health, Finance, Accounting, Marketing, Communications, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with peers and senior leadership.
- Flexibility in work arrangements and the ability to work at various locations within the healthcare system.
- A desire to build a career in healthcare is preferred.
- A resume and cover letter indicating your desired functional area track.
