About the role#
The Product Management internship provides an opportunity to work alongside product teams, including UX and engineering, to deliver business value. You will focus on assessing customer needs and performing research to discover and validate feature ideas. This role emphasizes learning day-to-day operations and gaining a comprehension of the retail business at The Home Depot.
What you'll do#
- Translate business goals and end user needs into product strategy.
- Manage and groom the product backlog.
- Identify goals, metrics, and analytics to determine product value.
- Formulate, test, and refine assumptions and hypotheses through user research and testing.
- Participate in standups, iteration planning sessions, product demos, and retrospectives.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Computer Engineering, or Marketing.
- Preferred GPA of 3.0 or above.
- 0-1 years of relevant work experience.
- Exposure to modern software development product management practices and agile methodologies.
- Experience conducting user research and testing.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027.
- The role is based on-site at the Store Support Center in Atlanta, Georgia.
- Work is expected Monday through Friday.
