About the role#
The Village Dallas is a residential community looking for a photography intern to capture the energy of our spaces and the people who live here. You will create original images for our website, social media, and print materials. This role focuses on building a professional portfolio with real-world content.
What you'll do#
- Photograph community events, amenities, and daily life on the property.
- Capture authentic lifestyle moments.
- Shoot architectural and property photos.
- Edit and retouch images for digital and print use.
- Maintain and organize our library of photography assets.
- Collaborate with the social media team to provide content for campaigns.
- Assist with behind-the-scenes video or B-roll footage as needed.
What you'll need#
- A portfolio showing range in people, spaces, events, or lifestyle work.
- Proficiency with a DSLR or mirrorless camera.
- Advanced skills in Adobe Lightroom or Photoshop.
- Ability to work quickly to meet deadlines.
- Experience directing subjects who are not professional models.
- Enrollment in Communications, Graphic Design, Art, or Media Studies is preferred, though self-taught skills are welcome.
