About the role#
The Walsh Group offers an internship program within our North Texas region designed to prepare you for future leadership roles. You will gain hands-on experience in project engineering and field management by working on active jobsites or within our estimating and preconstruction departments. We match you with projects that align with your academic background and career goals to help you transition into a full-time position after graduation.
What you'll do#
- Assist project managers or field supervision staff with day-to-day project coordination.
- Estimate costs for change orders and manage document control.
- Solicit bidders and coordinate subcontractor activity.
- Create schedules for various contracts and materials.
- Write RFIs and submittals.
- Participate in team meetings and support safety management.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Civil, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration, or Supply Chain Management.
- Ability to commit to a 12-week work schedule is preferred.
- Willingness to relocate for specific roles if required.

- Locations: Dallas, Denison, Lubbock, Fort Worth, and Sherman, Texas.
- This is an on-site, full-time, paid internship.
