About the role#
The Walsh Group offers an internship program for students in the Florida region. This program provides hands-on experience in project engineering and field management to prepare you for future leadership roles. You will work on jobsites or in the office, supporting our estimating and preconstruction departments. We match you with positions that align with your academic and career goals.
What you'll do#
- Assist project managers or field supervision staff with daily project coordination.
- Estimate costs for change orders.
- Solicit bidders and coordinate subcontractor activity.
- Manage the scheduling of various contracts and materials.
- Handle document control, including writing RFIs and submittals.
- Participate in team meetings and support safety management.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or Operations Management.
- Ability to commit to a 12-week work schedule.
- Willingness to relocate if a specific role requires it.
