About the role#
Thornton Tomasetti is hiring a Structural Engineer Intern to join our Structural Practice in Washington, DC. This is a full-time, paid position with a rolling start date. We do not provide visa sponsorship for this role.
What you'll do#
- Perform structural analysis, design, and detailing for steel, concrete, masonry, and timber systems.
- Coordinate design tasks with in-house staff, architects, and other engineering professionals.
- Prepare construction documents within a BIM environment.
What you'll need#
- You are currently an undergraduate or graduate student focusing on engineering or architecture.
- You maintain an excellent academic record.
- Familiarity with Revit, Tekla, and AutoCAD is helpful.
Location & details#
- This position is located in Washington, DC.
- The role requires on-site attendance.
- The hourly rate for this position is between $25 and $35.
