About the role#
This internship with the Energy and Infrastructure Solutions team provides hands-on experience in financial forecasting, budgeting, and performance analysis. You will work alongside finance professionals to support strategic business decisions and gain insight into the financial operations of an industrial automation company.
What you'll do#
- Conduct financial analysis and modeling to support business decisions.
- Assist in the development of annual budgets and operating forecasts.
- Monitor financial performance against established budgets.
- Analyze trends in key performance indicators, specifically regarding sales, expenses, and profit margins.
- Identify causes for unexpected variances in financial metrics.
- Provide regular, accurate status reports to relevant stakeholders.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor of Science program for Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or Economics.
- Proficiency in the MS Office suite.
- Demonstrated problem solving skills.
- Ability to travel domestically up to 5% of the time, sometimes with limited notice.
