About the role#
This is an 11-week, full-time summer internship based at our Distribution Center in Frankfort, New York. You will work alongside HR and operations leaders to support the team member lifecycle. This program provides hands-on experience in a distribution environment while you develop your skills in HR operations, communication, and leadership.
What you'll do#
- Support the application of HR policies, procedures, and employment practices.
- Partner with HR leaders to address team member questions and workplace matters.
- Analyze workforce data and exit interview feedback to identify trends and process improvements.
- Assist with recruiting tasks, including application review, candidate screening, and interviews for hourly and technical roles.
- Coordinate and facilitate training and development activities for distribution center staff.
- Support new hire orientation and safety-related initiatives.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit or recent completion of a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Ability to relocate to and reside in the Frankfort, NY area for the duration of the internship.
