About the role#
You will join the U.S. Credit team to work on institutional buy-side credit products. This team maintains a suite of trading protocols powered by a modern event-driven architecture. You will work alongside a 16-person engineering team to build systems that connect to credit trading workflows across the firm.
What you'll do#
- Contribute to the New List Infrastructure, a rewrite of the trading protocol stack.
- Write code in C++ to support scale and performance.
- Build auto-execution logic.
- Develop new trading protocols based on real client requests.
- Navigate trade logic that interacts with systems across the firm.
- Explore how AI and emerging technologies apply to your area of the business.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or Master’s degree program for Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with C or C++.
- A strong foundation in data structures, algorithms, and software engineering principles.
- Interest in building large-scale, real-time distributed systems.
- Sharp problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Curiosity about how technology drives the fixed income space.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
