About the role#
As an intern, you will join a software development team focused on the engineering and implementation of the Tradeweb STP system. Your work will span the full lifecycle of electronic trading, including pre-trade, trading, and post-trade processes. You will have the opportunity to explore how AI and emerging technologies apply to our business operations. We encourage interns to challenge existing processes and contribute new ideas to our projects.
What you'll do#
- Engineer and implement enhancements for the STP system.
- Work across pre-trade, trading, and post-trade workflows.
- Research and apply AI and emerging technologies to business challenges.
- Collaborate with technical and non-technical teams to solve problems.
- Participate in project-based work alongside our technologists and business experts.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing an undergraduate or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong coding skills with exposure to C++, Java, Python, HTML, JavaScript, or Node.js.
- Ability to work with various programming languages, frameworks, and operating environments.
- Familiarity with AI coding agents like Codex, Claude Code, and Cursor is a plus.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a small team.
- A self-starter attitude with a genuine interest in financial trading systems.
