About the role#
TriHealth is looking for Radiology Tech students to join the Electrophysiology team. This role provides hands-on clinical experience for students currently enrolled in an imaging degree program. This is a rolling opportunity designed to build a candidate pipeline for future openings. You will work alongside technologists to support patient care and department operations.
What you'll do#
- Provide direct patient care and assist with personal needs.
- Transport patients and monitor them for status changes, calling for help when needed.
- Coordinate patient flow with technologists.
- Perform clerical support and maintain accurate records.
- Maintain and care for medical equipment.
- Perform daily and monthly quality control procedures on equipment and report any issues to your supervisor.
- Comply with all infection prevention and safety procedures.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an approved Allied Health imaging degree program, with a preference for students in their final year.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification.
- CPR certification.
- Radiation Safety training.
- Up to 1 year of relevant experience is preferred.
Location & details#
- Location: Good Samaritan Hospital, 375 Dixmyth Avenue, Cincinnati, Ohio.
- Schedule: PRN, optional hours with a flexible schedule. No weekend or holiday rotation is required.
- This position is not eligible for benefits.
