About the role#
As a Hardware/Software Testing Intern, you will bridge the gap between field and office environments. You will analyze performance, document workflows, and ensure our technology delivers quality results. This role involves direct exposure to field-testing methodologies and advanced data analytics.
What you'll do#
- Validate and test next-generation products in real-world field and office environments to ensure peak hardware and software performance.
- Gather, analyze, and document operational data to shape new product features and workflow optimizations.
- Collaborate with teams to develop testing tools, troubleshoot technical issues, and improve testing standards.
- Author technical content and pre-release documentation to support product launches and global customer support teams.
- Participate in hands-on outdoor field testing when required.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Strong problem-solving capabilities and high attention to detail.
- A creative approach to testing complex systems and adaptability to changing priorities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams.
- Experience using Python, MatLab, or Robotics Operating System (ROS).
- Prior experience with hardware tools such as multimeters and oscilloscopes.
- Previous exposure to software testing methodologies, data acquisition, and data analysis.

- Locations: Westminster, CO; Lake Oswego, OR; Portsmouth, NH.
- Term: Summer 2027 (May/June through August/September).
- Type: Full-time, paid internship.
