About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027. You will work on-site in Dayton, Ohio, to gain experience in a warehousing environment. You will partner with distribution center directors and managers to test new software, roll out automation, and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with teams across logistics, materials, engineering, purchasing, and quality.
- Use ERP, PLM, and WMS programs to gather and analyze supply chain data.
- Test and document new software enhancements and automation roll-outs within the distribution center.
- Deliver data-driven process recommendations.
- Present capstone project findings to leadership.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a degree in Operations, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Confidence to collaborate with senior colleagues and stakeholders.
- Goal-oriented mindset and a team-first approach.
- Basic computer proficiency and analytical problem-solving abilities.
- Familiarity with Google Suite tools and data analytics platforms is a plus.
- Prior exposure to warehouse operations, logistics, or inventory management systems is helpful.
