About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027 based in Columbus, Ohio. You will join a structured program designed to connect your academic studies with real-world business operations. You may work from a construction job site or a corporate office location. The role focuses on building foundational knowledge in operational finance, project accounting, and financial systems.
What you'll do#
- Support financial management tasks including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and General Ledger activities.
- Review billing details against client contracts to ensure accuracy.
- Assist with the month-end close process and monitor project cash flow.
- Help with data collection, reporting, and financial analysis.
- Use automation and AI tools to improve financial workflows, templates, and reporting processes.
- Coordinate with supervisors to prioritize daily tasks and meet project deliverables.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program for Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or Economics.
- Demonstrated interest in construction accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively with colleagues and clients.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to coordinate work with supervisors.
