About the role#
Turner Construction is looking for students for a Fall 2026 Project or Field Coordinator internship. This position offers hands-on experience with the day-to-day execution of construction projects. You will work under the supervision of project managers and coordinators to learn about construction management, safety protocols, and the overall project lifecycle. This is a full-time, paid position based in Toronto.
What you'll do#
- Support the project team with meeting coordination, document control, and material tracking.
- Provide progress reports to your supervisor.
- Assist with the processing of shop drawings, submittals, and Requests for Information (RFIs).
- Attend project site visits to observe and document construction field activities.
- Monitor contractor compliance with safety programs.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an accredited college or university degree or Co-op program.
- Completion of at least one year of education.
- Must be at least 18 years of age to work on a construction site.
- Proficiency in professional verbal and written English communication.
- Pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Mechanical Engineering, or Industrial Engineering.
