About the role#
Turner Construction Company is hiring an Operational Finance intern to provide financial support to our profit centers. You will report to the accounting team and assist with day to day financial functions including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger reconciliation.
What you'll do#
- Ensure client contractual requirements are met regarding billing and accounts receivables.
- Process accounts payable for vendor and subcontractor invoices.
- Verify that lien waivers, contracts, and insurance requirements are in place.
- Assist with the monthly close process by ensuring project costs and client bills are recorded.
- Support internal and external audit requests.
- Prepare multi-project invoices for the central financial center.
- Manage administrative tasks such as vendor setup, sales and use tax reporting, and handling client tax exempt certificates.
- Compile supporting documentation for owner applications for payment.
