About the role#
The Analytics Intern joins the Warehousing Analytics team to support logistics and warehouse operations. This role focuses on hands-on experience with data, automation, and AI-enabled tools. You will work on practical development, experimentation, and building solutions rather than traditional dashboarding.
What you'll do#
- Support the development of analytics, automation, and AI-enabled tools to drive operational efficiency.
- Apply rapid prototyping and AI-assisted coding techniques to turn business ideas into working proofs of concept.
- Assist in developing lightweight web applications and user-facing solutions.
- Support SQL development, data validation, exploratory analysis, and basic data modeling.
- Identify opportunities to automate repetitive reporting, analysis, or administrative processes.
- Document solutions, data definitions, and business rules.
- Complete an end-to-end internship project and present results to stakeholders.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Supply Chain, Computer Science, or a related major.
- At least one year of school remaining.
- Strong computer skills, including a working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Access, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Curiosity and a willingness to experiment with new technologies.
Location & details#
- This is a year-round, on-site internship based at the Tyson Foods headquarters in Springdale, Arkansas.
- You must live within 50 miles of the office to be considered.
- This is a paid, full-time position.
