    About the role#

    This is a 12-week paid internship for Summer 2027. You will work on-site in Springdale, Arkansas, for 40 hours per week. You will work alongside food scientists to develop new products and processes for beef, pork, and chicken. You will also support manufacturing processes across the Tyson family of brands.

    What you'll do#

    • Complete projects focused on cost-saving, quality improvement, profitability, innovation, or product competitiveness.
    • Gain hands-on experience in product development.
    • Deliver a final report and presentation summarizing your project results.

    What you'll need#

    • Current enrollment in a Bachelor's (incoming junior or senior) or master's degree program.
    • Preferred majors include Biology, Chemistry, or Agriculture.
    • Strong computer skills with a working knowledge of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
    • Ability to multi-task and communicate effectively in both verbal and written forms.
    • Willingness and ability to perform the physical requirements of the job.
