About the role#
As a Business Insights & Analytics Intern, you will work with business leaders to help optimize pricing decisions and drive growth for the Animal Nutrition business unit. You will gain hands-on experience in how data, market dynamics, and business strategies influence decision-making within the agricultural industry.
What you'll do#
- Analyze pricing, sales, market, and profitability data to identify business opportunities.
- Partner with Pricing, Supply Chain, Sales, Marketing, and Finance teams to see how commercial decisions impact performance.
- Create and present insights and recommendations to business stakeholders.
- Learn how market trends, customer needs, and commodity dynamics influence pricing strategies.
- Collaborate with peers, mentors, and leaders across the organization.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program with junior standing or higher.
- Pursuing a degree in Business Analytics, Finance, Data Analytics, Business Management, Economics, or related fields.
- Experience with Microsoft Excel, including formulas, PivotTables, and data analysis.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and within a team.
- Preferred experience includes exposure to Power BI, Tableau, SQL, or relevant coursework in statistics and finance.
Location & details#
- Location: Arden Hills, Minnesota.
- Term: Summer 2027 (May 2027 - July 2027).
- Pay: $25 per hour.
- This is a full-time, on-site internship.
