About the role#
This 10-week paid summer internship offers a foundation in gathering, interpreting, and visualizing data to measure performance and drive business growth. You will gain hands-on experience through a mix of on-the-job training, mentorship, and peer collaboration. The program serves as a potential pathway to a full-time role in the Business Analytics Rotation Program upon graduation.
What you'll do#
- Analyze and synthesize data to produce predictive insights that inform business strategies.
- Apply statistical methods to analyze complex data and derive meaningful insights.
- Work with cross-functional teams to develop and implement data-driven solutions.
- Leverage predictive analytics and simulation models to refine strategy and measure performance.
- Create and present data visualizations, reports, and dashboards to stakeholders.
- Develop compelling communications and storytelling through data.
- Adapt to changing market conditions and customer preferences.
- Build product, technical, and business acumen through training and executive mentorship.
- Participate in cohort activities and complete an Analytics Capstone project.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a bachelor’s degree with a target graduation of December 2027 or spring 2028.
- Coursework in Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Economics, Computer Science, Technical Writing, Communications, Marketing, Entrepreneurial studies, or Management Information Systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret large, complex data sets.
- Ability to start the program on June 7, 2027.
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with SQL, Tableau, or Power BI.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Acute attention to detail and facilitation skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment.
- Ability to work well under pressure and time constraints.
Location & details#
- Location: Minneapolis, Minnesota.
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Work Modality: Hybrid (requires working from a U.S. Bank location three or more days per week).
- Schedule: Full-time, approximately 40 hours per week.
