About the role#
This 10-week paid summer internship provides hands-on experience in Credit Analysis and Relationship Management within the Corporate and Commercial Banking divisions. You will develop technical skills and business acumen while working alongside professionals across various industry verticals. This is a full-time role for the summer of 2027.
What you'll do#
- Analyze historical financial statements and prepare reports to communicate performance and trends.
- Conduct industry-specific research to support credit underwriting decisions.
- Assist in the assessment of credit requests and the delivery of recommendations tied to credit risk.
- Collaborate with Portfolio Managers, Relationship Managers, and Credit Administration teams.
- Gain exposure to the daily work conducted by Relationship Management teams.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or Business Administration.
- Target graduation date of December 2027 or May 2028.
- Ability to start the internship on June 7, 2027.
- A basic understanding of financial concepts and applications.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- A GPA of 3.0 or above.
- Previous corporate or investment banking experience is preferred.
- Strong relationship-building and problem-solving skills.
- Acute attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure.

- Locations: Minneapolis, MN; Cincinnati, OH; Denver, CO; Charlotte, NC; New York, NY; Los Angeles, CA.
- Work Modality: Hybrid, typically three days a week in-office.
- Hours: Approximately 40 hours per week.
