About the role#
The Radiology Student Tech position provides clinical experience and foundational knowledge in a hospital setting. What you'll do#
- Assist radiologic technologists by preparing and positioning patients for imaging procedures.
- Operate basic radiology equipment under direct supervision.
- Maintain clean and organized imaging rooms and equipment.
- Document patient information and imaging details according to department protocols.
- Follow radiation safety standards to protect patients and staff.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited radiologic technology program as a senior student.
- A basic understanding of human anatomy and medical terminology.
- The ability to follow instructions and work under supervision.
- Commitment to health and safety standards, including infection control.
- Strong communication skills for interacting with patients and the healthcare team.
