About the role#
University Enterprises, Inc. is hiring two Student Assistants to join the Enterprise Technology Solutions team. You will work under the supervision of the Information Technology Supervisor II to support desktop operations and hardware management. This is a part-time, temporary position based in West Sacramento.
What you'll do#
- Image, configure, and deploy laptop and desktop computers.
- Collect IT equipment from various divisions and offices.
- Manage hardware intake and disposal processes.
- Enter data into the ServiceNow IT asset management database.
- Assist Help Desk customers with technical support as needed.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a college student at an accredited institution.
- A declared major in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
- Proficiency in Windows administration.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Previous experience in an IT position or familiarity with standard IT practices.
Location & details#
- Location: West Sacramento, California.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: Flexible hours between 8 AM and 5 PM, Monday through Friday.
- Compensation: $18.27 to $23.89 per hour.
