About the role#
The STAGE Center Multimedia Specialist and Program Administrator supports the daily administrative and technical needs of the Pritzker School of Molecular Engineering. This role focuses on the intersection of science and art, helping the team translate complex scientific concepts into film, theatre, and games. You will work closely with leadership, on-campus support departments, and external vendors to manage projects from planning through execution.
What you'll do#
- Plan and execute multimedia projects using a hands-on approach.
- Create prototypes and mockups, including video design, 3D modeling, and digital animation.
- Operate and maintain A/V systems and troubleshoot technical issues.
- Coordinate with IT and other support entities to ensure infrastructure remains functional.
- Manage administrative tasks such as scheduling, meeting coordination, and inbox management.
- Develop project organizational structures and standard operating procedures.
- Track technical gear, film materials, and event resources through established supply systems.
- Support event planning, from logistics and space reservation to documentation.
- Update and maintain digital platforms, including website content and media libraries.
What you'll need#
- A college or university degree in a related field.
- 5-7 years of work experience in a related job discipline.
- Familiarity with multimedia design tools, including 3D modeling, digital rendering, and HTML/CSS basics.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Interpersonal and customer service abilities to manage stakeholder relationships.
- An ability to work independently and as part of a team.
