    About the role#

    The Office of Engagement is looking for a student designer to support our marketing efforts. You will work on print and digital assets for email, social media, and web platforms. This position reports to the Assistant Director of Graphic Design and focuses on projects related to alumni engagement and annual giving.

    What you'll do#

    • Design within established brand standards and evolve existing visual assets.
    • Create print and digital marketing materials.
    • Adapt print designs for digital campaigns.
    • Develop and maintain Canva templates for recurring use.
    • Collaborate with the team on marketing campaigns.

    What you'll need#

    • Current enrollment as a University of Virginia student.
    • Eligibility for Federal Work Study.
    • Advanced working knowledge of Adobe InDesign.
    • Proficiency in Photoshop and Illustrator.
    • Strong interest in graphic design and marketing.
    • Excellent time management skills and the ability to handle multiple projects.

    Location & details#

    • Location: Old Ivy Hall, Charlottesville, Virginia.
    • Modality: On-site.
    • Terms: Fall 2026, Winter 2027, and Spring 2027.
    • Compensation: $19.50 per hour.
