About the role#
This is a year-round, paid internship designed to provide real-world experience within the insurance industry. You will work in a professional office setting, gaining exposure to departmental and corporate functions while completing assigned tasks. This role focuses on general business areas such as operations, project management, and stakeholder engagement. Interns are expected to commit to the program for at least nine months.
What you'll do#
- Provide high-quality transactional support with a focus on productivity, accuracy, and customer service.
- Build effective partnerships and collaborate across various business areas.
- Act as a team player by supporting peers, addressing conflict constructively, and engaging in feedback.
- Handle project-based or task-based work independently while managing your time effectively.
- Strictly adhere to all privacy guidelines.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited four-year college degree program or an MBA program.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0, either in your major or overall.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Strong critical thinking, analytical, and communication skills.
- A willingness to master new tasks and work processes.
- Comfort working in a culture that emphasizes coaching and ongoing feedback.
- Ability to work at least 15 hours per week during regular business hours, Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm.

- Location: Columbia, South Carolina.
- Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: This is a full-time, year-round program. You may work up to 40 hours per week during school breaks based on business needs.
