About the role#
This is a year-round, paid internship based in Portland, Maine. You will gain experience in a professional office setting while supporting business operations, strategy, project management, and stakeholder engagement. The role requires a minimum commitment of nine months and at least 15 hours of work per week during regular business hours. You may work up to 40 hours per week during school breaks.
What you'll do#
- Provide high quality transactional support to business areas with a focus on productivity, accuracy, and customer service.
- Build effective partnerships and work across various teams.
- Act as a team player by backing up peers, addressing conflict, and giving or receiving feedback.
- Adhere to strict privacy guidelines.
- Handle other duties as assigned or as opportunities arise.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an accredited 4-year college degree program or an MBA program.
- Completion of at least 2 years of college coursework is preferred.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0 in your major or overall.
- Proficiency in MS Word and Excel.
- A strong customer service focus.
- Demonstrated critical thinking and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a deadline-driven environment.
- Solid oral and written communication skills.
- Comfort with a culture of coaching and ongoing feedback.
