About the role#
As an Experience Design Intern, you will work on projects focused on creating intuitive digital experiences. You will assist the team with design explorations, visual comps, and prototypes. This role offers hands-on experience with design tools and processes while you collaborate with team members and partners across the organization. You will build practical skills and explore real-world design challenges throughout the summer.
What you'll do#
- Generate design explorations at various fidelity levels, ranging from sketches to high-resolution work.
- Create semi-interactive prototypes.
- Contribute to digital system standards to ensure cohesive experiences.
- Participate in and help organize design-thinking workshops.
- Support research activities that drive end-user advocacy.
- Articulate and present design topics to colleagues.
- Incorporate feedback while providing input to peers.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate degree program in Graphic Design, Industrial Design, or a related field.
- Status as a student between Junior and Senior years or between the 1st and 2nd years of graduate school.
- A design portfolio that showcases your creativity, process, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate ideas through sketches, illustrations, and wireframes.
- A willingness to learn and adapt to new tools, systems, and processes.

- This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027.
- The role is based in Rosemont, Illinois.
- Work modality is hybrid, requiring a mix of onsite and remote work.
