About the role#
This internship program provides hands-on experience in the design and construction of space hardware and software. You will work directly with industry experts to address engineering challenges across various teams. This is a 12 week, full-time program based at our headquarters.
What you'll do#
- Design and build space hardware and software.
- Develop systems required for the operation of human-rated space stations.
- Solve real-world engineering problems across different departments.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or a related field.
- Ability to work full-time on-site in Long Beach, California.
- Demonstrated application of technical skills outside of the classroom through personal projects, research, or prior work experience.
- Proficiency in circuit design software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
- A self-directed approach and a positive attitude.
