About the role#
As an Electrical Engineering Intern, you will learn to design and develop electrical systems for military and commercial aircraft and ground stations. You will work on a variety of tasks across multiple aircraft platforms, gaining hands-on experience with complex electrical and electronic equipment integration.
What you'll do#
- Create system wiring diagrams, circuit breaker panels, and control panels using CAD software.
- Research and prepare engineering drawings.
- Coordinate design activities with Systems Engineering, Manufacturing, and Production teams to meet requirements efficiently.
- Develop Avionics Systems, RF, LAN, Data Processing, and Power Distribution Systems.
- Perform electrical loads analysis and develop load shedding schemes.
- Support the testing and integration of systems on aircraft.
What you'll need#
- You must be pursuing a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, Computer Science, or a related technical degree at an accredited university.
- Experience or knowledge of CAD and PLM software, such as NX and Teamcenter, is preferred.
- Familiarity with Siemens Capital software is a plus.

- Location: Salt Lake City, Utah, United States.
- This is a full-time, on-site, paid internship.
- The schedule follows a 9/80 format, where you work 80 hours over 9 days in a 14-day period with every other Friday off.
