About the role#
The Instructional Design Associate Intern supports the design, development, and maintenance of learning solutions that help employees build knowledge and skills. You will work under the guidance of experienced instructional designers to participate in content development projects and collaborate with subject matter experts. This role provides hands-on experience with instructional design processes, learning technologies, and project collaboration.
What you'll do#
- Assist with designing and developing e-learning courses, learning journeys, videos, assessments, and job aids.
- Draft storyboards, scripts, and learning content using established instructional design standards.
- Partner with instructional designers and subject matter experts to gather information and support content development.
- Create and update content in learning authoring tools such as Rise 360 and Storyline.
- Conduct content reviews to verify accuracy, quality, accessibility, and consistency.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education, Learning Technologies, Communications, Multimedia Design, Technical Communication, Business, or a related field.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent written communication and organizational skills.
- Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn new technologies and processes.
Location & details#
- This internship is located in Westerville, Ohio.
- The term for this role is Summer 2027.
- This is a full-time, paid, on-site position.
