About the role#
The Tech Sales Thermal Application Engineer Intern supports sales representatives and customers by providing technical guidance on thermal management products. This role acts as a bridge between field teams and internal departments including engineering, offering management, and order management. You will provide technical information, assist with custom product features, and help with equipment selection.
What you'll do#
- Provide technical sales support and assist in developing clear, technically sound solutions for customers.
- Use the Quote Configurator tool to provide comprehensive quote support.
- Run equipment performance tests on thermal management hardware.
- Execute technical sales operations tasks, including change order and engineer to order (ETO) processing.
- Assist with the review of custom equipment orders and provide technical instruction during the order workflow.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor's degree program for mechanical engineering.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Understanding of commercial infrastructure design objectives.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and one-line diagrams is preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

- This internship is located on-site in Westerville, Ohio.
- The term is for Summer 2027.
- This is a full-time, paid position.
