About the role#
VetStrategy offers opportunities for veterinary students to gain hands-on experience in clinics across Canada. You will work alongside an experienced team to observe clinic procedures and assist with daily operations. A mentor will be assigned to you to help reach your specific learning goals throughout the program.
What you'll do#
- Rotate through various roles in the clinic or hospital to observe processes.
- Gain experience in customer service and patient treatment.
- Learn to communicate with clients and provide appropriate veterinary care.
- Assist with the preparation and monitoring of surgeries.
- Use clinic software systems.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in the first, second, or third year of an accredited veterinary medicine program.
- Legal authorization to work in Canada.
- Availability for a period of 6 to 16 weeks.

- Work modality: On-site.
- Schedule: This is a paid, part-time position with a flexible schedule of 20 to 40 hours per week, including evenings and weekends.
