About the role#
Join the tax group at MNP to help clients navigate complex regulatory environments. You will work on tax strategies, financial reporting, and compliance while helping businesses manage risk and improve performance. This role is open to students and professionals looking for a position starting in 2027.
What you'll do#
- Apply knowledge of IFRS, NCECF, and the Income Tax Act to client files.
- Prepare files for new clients and newly incorporated businesses.
- Manage multiple files simultaneously and perform inventory counts.
- Research tax issues to determine their potential impact.
- Collect and analyze financial and tax data.
- Identify and correct errors in financial records and reports.
- Create accounting plans and prepare journal entries.
- Calculate taxes and prepare tax returns for various entities.
- Draft technical reports, summaries, and client correspondence.
- Work with the engagement team and build relationships with client contacts.
- Suggest new ideas to improve work procedures.
- Travel to client sites as needed.
What you'll need#
- A completed or ongoing Bachelor or Master degree in Taxation.
- Experience in a tax or accounting firm is an asset.
- Experience in customer service is an asset.
- Familiarity with accounting and tax software is an asset.

- Locations: Drummondville, Saint Hyacinthe, Joliette, Berthierville, Trois-Rivieres, Shawinigan, Victoriaville, and Saint-Félix-de-Valois, Quebec.
