About the role#
This internship program provides graduate students an introduction to the firm and global financial markets. You will join the algorithmic research team to transform large data sets into usable trading models. The program includes a company-curated training week and ongoing training throughout the summer.
What you'll do#
- Solve real quantitative problems throughout the program.
- Work directly with senior team members on trading strategies for the market making business.
- Apply quantitative analysis and research skills to discover patterns that improve trading algorithms.
- Complete one to two projects under the guidance of different mentors.
What you'll need#
- An advanced degree, preferably a PhD, in Science, Math, Engineering, or another quantitative field.
- Exceptional quantitative, mathematical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong programming skills, specifically C/C++ and Python with Pandas.
- The ability to solve technical or quantitative problems under pressure.
- Great communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with peers.
