About the role#
As a Diagnostics Intern, you will work alongside a team of engineers to provide services for projects involving the forensics, restoration, renovation, and rehabilitation of commercial structures. This role involves active participation in four core practice areas: Building Enclosure, Forensic Analysis, Parking Restoration, and Restoration/Renovation. You will support the team on various structures, including stadiums, arenas, convention centers, hospitals, and parking garages.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with engineers on diagnostics projects for commercial complexes and industrial facilities.
- Assist in the forensic analysis and rehabilitation of existing structures.
- Communicate project details and findings to clients and internal team members.
- Participate in an in-house staff development program.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a BS or MS program for Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or Architecture.
- A strong technical background and a clear interest in forensics engineering or building envelope rehabilitation.
- Enthusiasm for field work required to diagnose issues with significant structures.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Eligibility to work in the United States.

- This is a full-time, paid, on-site internship.
- The position follows a rolling term schedule.
- Available locations include Houston, Dallas, Austin, Atlanta, Kansas City, Orlando, Miami, Charlotte, and Raleigh.
