About the role#
Waxing The City is looking for a Brand Marketing Intern to support our local marketing and studio operations. This role is for someone interested in the business side of the beauty industry who enjoys community engagement. You will gain experience in event coordination, marketing outreach, and daily studio management.
What you'll do#
- Assist with email outreach to local schools, small businesses, and community groups.
- Participate in in-person outreach to introduce our services to the neighborhood.
- Support weekend pop-up events, community activations, and partnerships.
- Help coordinate event set-up, execution, and follow-through.
- Track outreach activities and report results to the Studio Marketer.
- Contribute ideas for local marketing strategies and partnerships.
- Manage inventory, restock supplies, and organize back-of-house materials.
- Maintain studio cleanliness and presentation standards.
- Support client satisfaction and retention efforts, including sharing promotions and loyalty initiatives.
- Assist with daily operational tasks to keep the studio running.
