About the role#
This is a full-time summer internship based in Fisher, Illinois. You will work alongside experienced engineering teams to support the systems and equipment that maintain safe and reliable natural gas delivery. This role provides hands-on experience with underground gas storage infrastructure.
What you'll do#
- Support underground gas storage processes and equipment.
- Assist with field piping, valves, and gas storage wells.
- Work on the injection process using natural gas powered compressors.
- Engage in the CO2 removal process.
- Participate in the LNG liquefaction process.
What you'll need#
- High School Diploma, GED, or HSED.
- Current pursuit of a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Civil, Chemical, Electrical, Industrial, Systems Engineering, or Petroleum Engineering.
- Graduation date after July 2027.
- Minimum GPA of 2.8.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Prior internship experience.
