About the role#
This is a full-time internship for the Summer of 2027 based in Chicago, Illinois. You will work with the business process integration department to support gas utility personnel. The role focuses on developing your technical, communication, and project management skills while you assist with business-driven projects related to asset management, supplier invoicing, and workforce mobility systems.
What you'll do#
- Support gas utility personnel and coordinate with various departments on administrative tasks.
- Build knowledge of natural gas transmission and distribution engineering through exposure to workflows and facilities.
- Use computer programs, databases, and spreadsheets to support department projects.
- Gain exposure to reporting tools and SQL.
- Assist with data analysis and business process tasks.
What you'll need#
- A High School Diploma, GED, or HSED.
- Current pursuit of a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial, Computer, Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering, or Business Administration.
- A minimum GPA of 2.8.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship.
