About the role#
WilkinGuttenplan is hiring for a Winter 2027 Tax Internship. This role offers hands-on experience in public accounting, where you will work alongside experienced professionals to support our tax practices. You will gain exposure to diverse client assignments and internal projects while building your professional network.
What you'll do#
- Participate in training sessions to build proficiency with advanced accounting software.
- Collaborate with professional staff to complete tax compliance tasks.
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns while maintaining accuracy and compliance.
- Analyze financial data and contribute to the development of comprehensive reports.
- Engage in community service initiatives through our internal WeGive committee.
What you'll need#
- You are a current college junior or senior pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
- You have a strong academic record.
- You are available to work from mid-January through mid-April, for three full days per week between 9am and 5pm.
- You possess basic computer skills, including the Microsoft Office Suite.
- You demonstrate strong interpersonal skills.
