About the role#
We are looking for an Accounting Intern to join our team in Watertown. This role offers the chance to gain practical experience while you complete your studies. We prioritize your academic commitments and will work with you to set a schedule of up to 20 hours per week that fits your classes. What you'll do#
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
- Process, organize, and maintain invoices and financial records.
- Support account reconciliations and month-end tasks.
- Enter and review data for accuracy.
- Prepare basic reports, spreadsheets, and documentation.
- Handle filing and other administrative tasks.
- Participate in team meetings and learning opportunities.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related degree program.
- Interest in a career in accounting or finance.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Reliability, discretion, and a willingness to learn.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
