About the role#
As a Mission Operations Automation Engineer Intern, you will work on high-fidelity spacecraft and contribute to real missions. You will join an agile scrum team focused on mission operations and autonomous solutions. Every intern receives mentorship from a Senior Engineer and completes a defined, high-value project during their time with us.
What you'll do#
- Develop and improve tools for mission operations.
- Participate in design reviews and process improvements.
- Execute a specific, time-bound project that provides value to the team.
- Collaborate with management, customers, and other engineering disciplines.
- Identify risks and communicate project status, including challenges and successes.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a 4-year engineering degree program at an accredited university.
- Completion of at least your freshman year.
- Ability to work 40 hours per week.
- Demonstrated interest in spacecraft and space systems.
- Experience with Python, C, SQL, or Linux is preferred.

- This is an on-site role based in Greenwood Village, Colorado.
- This position is paid and full-time.
