About the role#
Zermount, Inc. is looking for an intern to assist our IT team with hardware, software, and system maintenance. This role offers exposure to cybersecurity, programming, analytics, and data center management. You will work on-site in Arlington, Virginia.
What you'll do#
- Maintain hardware, software, and various IT systems.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and respond to user service requests.
- Monitor antivirus software and remove spyware, adware, or viruses from infected computers.
- Organize IT resources and develop training for hardware and software use.
- Work on ad-hoc projects including software development and implementation.
- Dedicate 5 hours per week to the Technical Recruiting Department.
- Dedicate 10 to 16 hours per month to the Business Development team.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or a related field.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Familiarity with Java.NET, JavaScript, HTML/DHTML, and the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
- Preference is given to rising seniors or recent graduates.
